It was a misty, rainy day in the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument when I captured this image. Uncertain of the outcome as stood on the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and clicked away. I like the detail of the basalt cliffs in the foreground in combination with the gradual lose of detail as my eye moves to the plateau in the background. Taos, Northern New Mexico.
